Our Story

Joe and Jena met in March of 2013 via a series of fortunate events. Neither were expecting to find their perfect match online, but that's exactly what happened! After a drive into work got her stuck in traffic, Jena turned on the radio to find a morning show talking about the "ridiculous questions and answers you'll find on online dating websites." The curiousness got the best of her and she signed up just for kicks.

Months prior to this, Joe had signed up for the same site. Without luck, he closed his account and moved on ... or so he thought.

Shortly after logging on, Jena too forgot about the site.. until one evening when she received a notification on her phone stating "You have a new match!" Since she wasn't currently in a relationship it couldn't hurt to look, right? That's when she saw Joe's profile. "This guy doesn't look like the rest of the crazies on here," Jena thought to herself. So she messaged him.

Joe was surprised when his phone dinged, indicating someone had messaged him on the dating site. Confused as to how this was possible, he remembered a conversation with a friend from a couple days prior. After some investigation, it appears that when someone sends you a link to view a photo on this dating site, if your account is disabled - it's automatically reactivated! That's exactly what happened here. Although never intentional, it seems everything happens for a reason.

Today, Joe and Jena live in their first home with their two dogs (Charlie and Bentley) and two cats (Jonnie and Jynx).
